Trip Overview
Embark on a cruise from Heraklion to the uninhabited and Natura 2000 protected island of Dia. Enjoy a completely private sailing tour and take in views of the wonderful coastline.
Meet your guide and board an expansive (15.10 m. long, 4,80 m. wide), luxurious, sailboat, with ample front decks, an oversized cockpit and sitting area, and spacious internal areas.
As you sail towards Dia, learn of the local myths and legends of the island, like how it was created by Zeus, the God of the sky. Once you reach the island's wind protected coves, take your time to swim in the Cretan waters, fish, snorkel, or try out paddleboarding.
Alternatively, stay on the boat and enjoy all the amenities that it has to offer. Suntan on the massive front deck, and even take a little snooze on the comfortable, high-quality mattresses.
Upon arrival, you may enjoy beer, and a variety of soft drinks. Later on, the crew will serve a delicious, authentic Mediterranean meal, fragrant white wine, and a variety of seasonal fresh fruits.
As you cruise back to the old Venetian harbor you may release your mind while capturing the magic moments, feeling relaxed, delighted, and totally refreshed.

MEETING POINT / USEFUL TIPS
Meeting time: Please be at the Meeting point 15 minutes before the cruise starts.
Meeting point: At the Northeast side of Marina Café, in Heraklion Old Venetian harbor (Google maps coordinates: 35.343062, 25.137021).

Parking: In case you use a rented car, there is open parking just by the Marina Café. You need to pay a low fee in order to park your car there.
Fetch your beach towels, sunscreens, hats, your swimming suits, and light jackets.
All passengers need to bring their Passports or ID cards or Driver's licenses (image copies at your mobiles are accepted) the day of travel, otherwise the sailboat is not allowed to leave Port. Port authority is extremely strict on this matter.
If you suffer from seasickness, we strongly recommend that you take an anti-seasickness pill 30 minutes before the cruise starts, and another pill 30 minutes before the boat departs from Dia island as a precaution. We also suggest not eating or drinking too much in order to keep your stomach in good condition.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
All our daily trips depart from Heraklion Port and return to Heraklion Port.
Please kindly consider that the cruise is not suitable for people with mobility impairments or wheelchair users.
Disembarkation on Dia Island is not allowed due to environmental related issues. Still, swimming or paddleboarding from the boat to the shore is allowed, enabling guests to spend some time on the island if they wish.
Modifications to the trip schedule may be applied depending on weather conditions.
In case the trip must be cancelled due to severe weather conditions you will be offered an alternative day. If no other date can be found, you will get a full refund.
CANCELLATION CONDITIONS
You may cancel your trip anytime, for any reason. Notice of a request for a cancellation must be sent in writing (via message or e-mail). Our refund policy on cancellations is as follows:
More than 10 days before check-in: 100% of the deposit will be refunded.
Less than 10 days before check-in: 0% of the deposit will be refunded.
10.00: Departure from Heraklion port
The boat leaves Heraklion Venetian port, sailing north to Dia island. You can relax, get some suntan on the deck, or join the sailing procedure while getting eye – catching views of Heraklion from aboard and sensing the sea breeze on your skin.
At Dia island you can enjoy swimming, fishing, or snorkeling into the crystal clear waters and exploring the remnants of the ancient port. Alternatively, you can take a walk around the island or just relax and continue sun tanning on deck or at the golden sandy beach at Agios Georgios bay.
14.30: Lunch time
It’s time to enjoy a fresh, tasty, traditional meal (includes Greek salad) served on board together with fine local wine and a variety of soft drinks.
16.00: Fruits served on board
Enjoy seasonal fresh fruits and refreshments while slowly cruising back to port feeling recreated, tanned and ready for the night ahead.
18.00: Arrival back at Heraklion port.
