Overview

One unique feature sets the new Sealine F - 42/5 Flybridge apart from anything else on the water: It's the boat's ability to make itself shorter or longer as deck space is needed. The 42/5 designation means that this boat can stretch itself from 42 feet in length overall to 45 feet at the touch of a button — with the Sealine Extending Cockpit System.

The F - 42/5 can extend its cockpit deck an additional 3 feet to expand the space while docked or at anchor. An electrically operated section of decking moves out from under the saloon floor and extends beyond the edge of the swim platform.

The transom bench seat moves out with it, so there's more deck area for table and chairs. When the party is over, just push a button, and the extension retracts.

Many boats of this size create more saloon space by only providing one helm station — on the flybridge. This is all well and good in ideal weather conditions. however, there are going to be days when you'll appreciate an inside helm — and being able to get in from the rain and wind or heat and humidity.

The motorboat is configured with identical control setups both above and below. A full complement set of electronics including a radar, an autopilot, a chart plotter and digital instrumentation — with the master unit at the inside helm and a repeater on the flybridge.

The lower station is two steps up from the saloon floor and provides good visibility when seated at the double bench behind the wheel. On open water, it has an unrestricted view, wider than 240 degrees. Aft sight lines are good through the large expanse of floor-to-ceiling glass between the saloon and the cockpit.

The Cummins 480C-E diesel engines allow F - 42/5 to easily reach a top speed of 36 knots. Acceleration is smooth, especially at midrange rpm. Slow-speed maneuvering is quite easy with the assistance of the bow thruster.

The helm is very quiet while running at cruising speed. The Venturi windshield does a very effective job of minimizing wind noise. When you are sitting at the helm, there is almost no breeze in your face.

Even when running into a stiff headwind, you can carry on a conversation with the person next to you — at a normal volume level. Additionally engine noise is almost nonexistent. This is a very quiet boat.

If you appreciate cutting-edge European styling, luxurious appointments, solid craftsmanship and The ability  to instantly "grow" another 3 feet at your command, Sealine F - 42/5 will definitely attract you and amaze you every time you cruise.

This spectacular motoryacht is available for crewed charters around Crete and the astonishing Greek islands. It is based in the Old Venetian Harbor of Heraklion, Crete.

Exterior Highlights

The cockpit area of the F- 42/5 is the focal point for the boat's topside entertainment and activity.

A wet bar, plus refrigerator and barbecue, offers welcome convenience for spectacular meals or dinners.

The adjacent swim platform is an ideal jumping off area for watersports. There is a hot / cold water shower on deck as well.

a considerable amount of storage is available close at hand in the cockpit, for all activities.

Even more storage is provided inside the flybridge overhang, which also offers shade for the cockpit.

guests can circulate all the way up the stairway to the flybridge, to the spacy L - shaped lounge that can comfortably host six people.

Two more guests can sit facing forward when sections of the sunpad are lifted to form backrests.

captain and first mate can swivel their helm seats to join the guests around a removable table (when the boat's not under way).

When guests don't want to take full advantage of the large sunpad, they can ask from the crew to shade the flybridge with the Bimini top.

Interior Highlights

Step inside the F-42/5 saloon, and you'll find yourself in another world. The saloon is spacious, yet cozy. The woods and fabrics provide a sensual and comfortable surrounding.

A nearly 360 degree panorama of glass allows natural light to flood the area. You can let the breezes in, as well, thanks to electrically operated windows on either side of the saloon.

Aft and to starboard, a U-shaped seating and dining area is situated around an adjustable-size table. At night, it can convert to a double berth.
On the opposite side, in the aft corner, there's an entertainment center and a wet bar — and forward of that, you'll find enough space for a pair of club chairs.

The galley is one step down from the saloon deck, to port. It has all the appliances you'll need for cooking anything from an elegant formal dinner to a simple snack.

Galley includes a double-burner stove, a convection/microwave oven, a dual voltage refrigerator and a double-basin stainless steel sink. Everything is set around a spacious countertop. There's storage both above and below the countertop, and a unique modular bin system is built-in under the sole.

The F-42/5 has two suites with separate heads, for the ultimate in privacy and convenience.

The midcabin offers several configuration possibilities. You can use a section of one of the berths for seating and the other for sleeping; use both sections as single berths; or convert the entire space into one large berth. The cabin also contains a hanging locker and a dressing table with a lighted mirror.

Both heads have countertops with basins and mirrors on the backs of the doors. The one serving the master suite has a separate shower compartment. Both have opening windows for ventilation.

The master suite features a pedestal double berth, accessible from three sides, with a large drawer at its foot. There's a vanity cabinet with a mirror and storage lockers at eye level along each side of the cabin. A floor-to-ceiling hanging locker sits in the aft starboard corner.
